SHADOW DANCE SHOW

Shadow dance, evolved from the traditional Chinese hand-shadow play, utilizes the contours of the body and various movement poses to create shadows of varying sizes on a screen by changing the distance from the light source. Through the combination of multiple performers' forms, it creates shapes of various objects. By incorporating modern projection equipment and screens, it overlays multimedia visuals and music to produce richer scenes. Through dance and theatrical techniques, this performance art showcases a blend of复古 (retro) and现代 (modern) characteristics. Shadow dance performances require high-lumen projectors and screens of corresponding sizes, with different projection sizes demanding varying stage depths. The performance space must be暗场 (darkened).
