Black Light Theatre
Black Light Theatre is a unique form of performance art that originated in Czechoslovakia in the mid-20th century. The show takes place on a completely dark stage, where actors wear fluorescent costumes or use fluorescent props that glow under ultraviolet light. Dressed in black, the actors blend into the black background, allowing the audience to see only the glowing parts, creating illusions of objects "floating" or "disappearing." Black Light Theatre typically has no dialogue, relying on body language, music, and visual effects to convey stories and emotions. This theatrical form is renowned for its mysterious visual effects and fantastical stage performances.
